Reporting (Information Unit)
The Reporting information unit lets you create Business Intelligence either with own reports or with report-templates that will be installed. These templates are available when creating a new report information unit.
BIRT Editor
The Birt Editor is a special feature to edit reporting templates that are rendered in Remus. Therefore a fragment of the BIRT project is shipped to enable the Reporting perspective. All major features of BIRT are supported. See also here for further information.
Reporting (BIRT Runtime)
The reporting component contains the BIRT Reporting runtime. This tooling enables the user to execute BIRT Reports that are embedded as single information units and can use the stored information units as datasource to build any type of reporting document that is supported by the BIRT project. Other information units can also make use of this component to use the engine to build a visualization for a specific information unit.
Groovy Runtime
For the execution of rules this feature is required. It installs a groovy runtime which lets you create groovy scripts. Remus can execute user defined groovy scripts when dropping or pasting external content into the application.
Favorite Searches
This feature is a link-integration between the search functionality of remus and the information structure. It is a information type, which holds a search-query for Remus. So often used queries can be saved as favorite search. The results are refreshed automatically and you can fill the search form with a favorite search
Calendar Integration
The calendar integration provides several new views regarding visualization of calendar-entries. It lets you attach calendar-entries to each information unit. In addition it installs a new view with a calendar overview and the possibility to see calendar-entries by the week and supports the drag and drop functionalites already known from Outlook or Thunderbird
